Senior Policy Researcher
Greg holds an LLB(hons) and a BA, majoring in history, from the University of Canterbury, as well as a PhD in resource management law from Victoria University of Wellington. Prior to joining EDS, Greg practised in resource management law at a major New Zealand law firm and worked as a policy analyst at the Ministry for the Environment. Over the last decade he has published, presented and taught both at home and abroad on a range of resource management and environmental law topics.
Greg’s primary focus at EDS is on the RM Reform project, which is looking at the future of our resource management system.
Greg is a keen oil painter, poet, and soccer and tennis player.
