4th Australia-New Zealand Climate Change & Business Conference
The 4th Australia-New Zealand Climate Change & Business Conference will be held in Auckland from 18-20 August 2008 with the New Zealand Ministry for the Environment as Foundation Sponsor. Building on the successes of the three previous conferences, the event is recognised as the pre-eminent climate change conference for business in this region.
The 2008 conference will focus on the risks and opportunities facing business as a result of climate change. There will be a very sharp focus on emissions trading which looks to become a reality in both countries. We will look at how the regional and global markets are developing and how companies can enter the emerging markets. In addition, the 2008 program will have more specialised workshops with advice on business opportunities available to specific sectors. We intend to focus on practical suggestions for action and will work with sponsors and our co-organisers to structure a very contemporary and relevant program for the broad range of delegates expected to attend this conference.
